12/11/2009    COSMEDICA SELECTED AS ONE OF TWO WORLDWIDE CENTERS!

It's official - we have  been selected by the Ultrashape company to launch their brand new, upgraded device for non-invasive fat reduction. Cosmedica was the first Plastic Surgery clinic in Canada to receive the original Ultrashape machine in 2007. The new device, available as of the first part of January 2010, combines ultrasound with radiofrequency energy for  better and faster results than the original Ultrashape as well as adding skin tightening to the fat reduction. Dr. Benchetrit has been invited to present on Ultrashape at the upcoming IMCAS meeting in Paris in January, 2010. IMCAS (International Master Course on Aging Skin) is a very prestigious scientific meeting that regroups some of the world's leading plastic surgeons, dermatologists and other doctors specialising in esthetic medicine and surgery. Dr. Benchetrit will be presenting on his two and half year experience with the revolutionary Ultrashape device for non-invasive fat reduction. He has previously presented his data at other scientific meetings in North America, Latin America and Asia.
