How Perlane Works:                    

Perlane gel is injected into the skin with an ultra-fine needle. Perlane's gel particles can reach deeper into skin tissue, which makes it ideal for volumizing and lifting effects. People with severe allergies marked by a history of anaphylaxis Anaphylaxis: accute, severe whole-body allergic reaction.  or presence of multiple severe allergies should not have Perlane treatments. Patients who are using blood-thinning medications, such as aspirin or ibuprofen, as with any injection, may experience increased bruising or bleeding at the injection site. Please inform us if you are using any blood thinning medications.

What to expect afterwards There may be some redness and tenderness at the injections site, and some post-injection bruising, or mild swelling, which usually resolves itself within a few days. If laser treatment, chemical peeling, or any other procedure based on active dermal response is considered after treatment with Perlane injectable gel, there is a possible risk of an inflammatory reaction at the treatment site.
